US President Donald Trump announced that he has instructed the Pentagon to postpone strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure for five days.
“I have instructed the Department of Defense to postpone any military strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for five days,” the American leader stated on his social media platform, Truth Social.
Trump also noted that “productive talks” had recently taken place between the two sides, which could contribute to de-escalation.
