On September 30, National Assembly member Taguhi Tovmasyan from the “I Have the Honor” faction filed a lawsuit against Artur Hovhannisyan, a member of the “Civil Contract” faction.
She is demanding that Artur Hovhannisyan publicly apologize in a video for offensive remarks he made against her. Taguhi Tovmasyan is demanding Artur Hovhannisyan pay 9 million drams, 3 million of which is in compensation for moral damages for the insult and 6 million in compensation for moral damages for defamation.
The MP’s lawsuit was signed by Yerevan Civil Court Judge Anna Samveli Shiladzhyan.
