The Armenian Apostolic Church was solemnly opened in Izhevsk

On November 10, the consecration and opening of the Armenian Apostolic Church took place in the capital of the republic, Izhevsk. The Minister of National Policy Eduard Petrov attended the ceremonial event. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of National Policy of Udmurtia.

“I congratulate the Armenians and all the residents of the city on such a significant event! I thank Mnatsakan Meruzhanovich, Arsen Vladimirovich and all the caring representatives of the Armenian community and residents of the republic for their enormous contribution to the construction and functioning of the church complex,” the minister said.

The Armenian church is a large complex that includes a temple, a monument to the victims of the Armenian genocide and a miniature copy of Mount Ararat, the symbol of Armenia. The doors of the temple are open to all residents of Udmurtia, regardless of their nationality and religion.
