The search at the Artsakh representative office has two main reasons. First, yesterday, the Artsakh parliament held hearings on possible paths for the return of the people of Artsakh. These were quite representative and meaningful discussions, and, naturally, the government would not accept this under any circumstances. Second, Nikol Pashinyan’s statement equating the return of the people of Artsakh to the term “Western Azerbaijan” is absurd and artificially created. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the “I Have the Honor” faction, in a conversation with journalists at the Artsakh representative office.
“The Armenian government is attempting to hold an event that will appeal to Azerbaijanis, to show that it will not allow an event aimed at the return of the people of Artsakh,” he said.
