On August 4, His Holiness, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, received pilgrims from the High Point community of the Eastern Armenian Diocese of the USA (Boston) in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, led by their spiritual pastor, Rev. Father Vard Gyozalian. This was reported by the Information System of the Mother See.
Giving a blessing to the pilgrims, the Armenian Patriarch noted the importance of the connection of Armenians from all over the world with the Motherland and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, which is the best manifestation of devotion to the homeland and spiritual and national values. In this regard, His Holiness also emphasized the role of the clergy serving in the diaspora.
In his speech, His Holiness touched upon the problems that Armenia is facing, expressing confidence that the Armenian people, thanks to their unity and strong faith, will be able to overcome the current difficulties and trials.
In conclusion, the Armenian Patriarch called on the pilgrims to remain faithful to their national identity, to strengthen in their hearts the love and devotion to the Homeland and the Armenian Church.
