The authorities are spreading disinformation that we are avoiding inspecting weapons samples. Tigran Abrahamyan

The authorities’ claim that the opposition is avoiding visiting and inspecting weapons it has acquired is untrue, Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the “I Have the Honor” faction, told reporters in the National Assembly.

“Various officials, including the Minister of Defense, have stated that it is possible to inspect the weapons in question. The strange thing is that three or four weeks ago, a representative of the Ministry of Defense contacted me and asked if I was willing to inspect them. I explained my approach, reminded them that the Ministry of Defense had banned me from entering the front lines for six months, and outlined the conditions under which I would go and inspect them. A mutual understanding was reached.” But despite this understanding, various government representatives claim that we are avoiding inspecting weapons samples. “It would be good if government officials didn’t spread disinformation from the National Assembly rostrum,” Abrahamyan said.
