The authorities, having disbanded the Defense Army and transferred some of its weapons to Baku, are talking about weapons purchased with taxpayer money.

Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of parliament from the “I Have Honor” faction in the National Assembly, wrote:

“When the defense structures and weapons of 20 years ago are considered in the context of the current dynamics and realities of war, it’s the same as the authorities’ claims that 20 years ago there were no electric cars in the country, while now their number has increased to tens of thousands.

There are weapons and military equipment that 10 or 20 years ago not only solved a problem but also played a significant role in various operations, while now their role has approached zero.”

The same applies to the threats posed by various decades in building Azerbaijan’s defense, potential, capabilities, and so on.

I’m not even mentioning the government officials who disbanded the most combat-ready unit of the Armenian armed forces, the Defense Army, and transferred some of its military equipment and weapons to Baku, saying, “Weapons purchased with taxpayers’ money and debts left over from generations are being ‘sold’ to the population twice.”
