The biggest redesign: iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will look like Google Pixel, will have aluminum body

The long-awaited radical redesign of Apple smartphones may become a reality with the release of the iPhone 17 series. The Information reports that at least the younger models, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, will receive a completely new design. There are no direct leaks yet, but there is a description of the design.

According to him, the camera block will be completely changed. First, it will not be square, but rectangular, apparently, it will be approximately similar to the current Pixel smartphones. Second, the block will be made not of glass, but of aluminum.

The source details that in general, the entire upper part of the body will be made of aluminum, and at the bottom there will be a glass insert, which is necessary for wireless charging. Yes, we are talking about aluminum, because Apple, according to the source, will also abandon titanium.

The result will be a completely new design, a completely new configuration of body materials, and, of course, new and old materials.

In the image created by Apple Hub, you can see approximately what it might look like, but it is worth noting that this is exclusively the designer’s idea; there are no leaks yet. It is also worth noting that when the first leaks about the iPhone 17 Slim/Air appeared on the Internet, it was depicted in approximately the same way, until it became known that it would have only one camera. This in itself is not proof, but the leak potentially makes it more reliable.

As for the base iPhone 17, it is not clear whether it will receive a new design. Considering that the iPhone 16 has already received a new design, perhaps the base model will not change much next year.
