The condition of the mother of 18-year-old Davit, who was detained, worsened in the courthouse courtyard.

Davit Minasyan, one of the twin brothers involved in the incident with Nikol Pashinyan at St. Anne Church, was detained for two months by decision of Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan.

After learning of her son’s detention, Davit’s mother, Ms. Gayane, became ill.

An ambulance arrived at the courthouse to provide medical assistance, but Ms. Gayane refused it.

As a reminder, the previous day, a visitation ban had been imposed on one of the brothers, Mikael Minasyan, as a preventative measure.

In a conversation with reporters, lawyer Armen Melkonyan stated that they had not yet received the court’s justification for the detention.

“They believe that the 12th-grade student should be detained, but a number of individuals accused of particularly serious crimes may be placed under administrative supervision.” “The judge didn’t take anything into account,” the lawyer said, noting that they would definitely appeal the decision.
