The decision on Armenia’s withdrawal from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in order to join the European Union (EU) should be made exclusively by the Armenian people. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk.
“Recently, Nikolay Vovayevich Pashinyan stated that it is impossible to be a member of both the EAEU and the EU at the same time.
And if such a decision is ever made, I am sure that various factors influencing the decision will be weighed in one direction or another,” the Russian Deputy Prime Minister told reporters.
