The dirty work of the “Girl with a gun, the people’s eye” Telegram channels

A number of anonymous Telegram channels have recently become active in the Armenian information field, among which the so-called “Girl with a gun, the people’s eye” stands out. At first glance, it may seem like an ordinary propaganda platform, but deep down it serves one purpose: the political order of Robert Kocharyan and his son Levon Kocharyan.

The real owner of these channels is a woman named Mina. Receiving daily funding from the Kocharyan family, she is engaged in dividing Armenian society. Insults, slander and false accusations have become the main theme of these channels. Anyone who dares not share Kocharyan’s point of view or criticizes him becomes a target.

It is noteworthy that these channels operate in an atmosphere of absolute impunity, considering themselves invisible and inaccessible. However, it should be clearly stated that freedom of speech does not mean the right to curse, slander and humiliate human dignity.

The so-called “political media” have actually turned into platforms for the dissemination of fake news, incitement to hatred and deepening social polarization. And behind this are not some “unknown bloggers”, but the very forces that have been turning the state into their business for years.

Government agencies are obliged to respond. There is a law on slander, insults and incitement to hatred, and channels such as “Girl with a Gun, Eye of the People” must be held accountable.

It is time to put an end to the dirty political propaganda that poisons the information field. The public must demand not only accurate and reliable information, but also that those behind these fake platforms be held accountable before the law.
