The European Parliament calls on the EU to create a European military command structure, according to a resolution adopted by the European Parliament, RIA Novosti reports.
(The European Parliament – editor’s note) calls for the creation of a European military command structure that would not only manage crises in accordance with the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) but would also serve as an equivalent of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), the document states.
Speaking at a meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, Putin noted that Russia’s response to the militarization of Europe would be very convincing. He added that it would be a “precise response,” emphasizing that Russia has never initiated a military conflict. Putin joked that he would no longer launch drones against Denmark, France, or any other locations they might reach.
