Another operation was carried out in Turkey against one of the largest companies, Can Holding. At the request of the prosecutor’s office, 35 people were arrested, including the leader of the Turkish Freemasons, Ermenihaber.am reports.
It should be noted that Can Holding operates in the energy, education, logistics, healthcare and tourism sectors.
Among those detained are the chairmen of the board of Binsat Holding, as well as the wives of the owners of Can Holding. However, one of the most significant names is the former rector of Istanbul Bilgi University, Professor Remzi Sanver.
Sanver has headed the largest Masonic organization in Turkey, the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, since 2023, and is considered its first face.
It should be noted that the first wave of arrests in the Can Holding case began on September 11. 26 members of the organization were arrested, including high-ranking and famous people.
