The Gabala Declaration was signed at the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic-Speaking States (OTS), which took place today in Azerbaijan. The document was adopted following a meeting of the organization’s member states.

Following the OTS summit in the Azerbaijani city of Gabala, the presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan signed the Gabala Declaration, announced Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to Bayramov, the document specifically mentions the “Zangezur Corridor.” The TTS leadership noted the strategic importance of the “Middle Corridor” international transport route, including the Zangezur Corridor, emphasizing that it will significantly contribute to strengthening ties between Turkic-speaking states, increasing trade turnover, and developing intraregional economic cooperation.
