The mayor of Tegh village in the Syunik region, Davit Ghulunts, a member of the “Civil Contract” party, has been arrested today. This was reported to by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.
According to the police, Ghulunts was arrested for committing an act under Article 182 of the Administrative Violations Code, which pertains to “failure to comply with the lawful demands of a police officer or a soldier of the police forces.”
Davit Ghulunts was subjected to administrative arrest and has since been released.
