The next two weeks will bring clarity on the issue of a peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Trump

US President Donald Trump said that in the next two weeks there will be clarity on the issue of a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. He said this in an interview with journalist Todd Starnes.

He explained that in two weeks Washington will make a decision on further policy, not ruling out a change in the approach to this issue.

“We will find out soon. I would say in two weeks we will find out one way or another. After that, we may have to change our approach,” he said.

In early August, Trump refused to estimate the timing of an agreement to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. He explained that he did not want to talk about how close the agreement was to it, since he had been disappointed in the past. However, after a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, the White House chief of staff said that the conflict in Ukraine could be ended in a relatively short time.
