The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, announced the violation of Polish airspace at night.
“An operation is being conducted due to numerous violations of the Polish airspace. The armed forces used weapons against these objects. I am in constant contact with the president and the minister of defense. “I received a direct report from the operational commander,” wrote Tusk on social network X.
“I received a message from the operational commander of the armed forces about the shooting down of drones that invaded our airspace and could pose a threat. The operation continues. I informed the Secretary General of NATO about the situation and the measures taken in relation to the objects that violated our airspace. We are in constant contact,” Tusk wrote later.
