On September 22, the Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit for confiscation of illegally acquired property against Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, and his family. This was revealed in the Datalex judicial information system.
According to the information available in the system, the lawsuit is filed against Gagik, Javair, Nver, Hovhannes, Kolik, and Roza Tsarukyan, Sedrak Arustamyan, Varditer Khachatryan, Arpi Avetisyan, Tigran, and Armine Manukyan, and Robert Mkrtchyan.
Several companies associated with Tsarukyan are named as third parties in the case. Specifically, the following are involved as third parties: the National Olympic Committee of Armenia NGO, Zvartnots Handing, Shustov Trading House CJSC, Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory OJSC, Onira Club, Multi Autotrans, Global Motors, Armbeton, Multi Motors, Megamotors, Multi Sis, Multi Wellness Center, Multi Agroway, and Artben LLC.
The case has been assigned to Judge Lili Drmeyan of the Anti-Corruption Civil Court. This judge has been hearing a separate claim for the confiscation of illegal property against Tsarukyan, his family, and the same affiliates since 2023.
It is worth noting that Gagik Tsarukyan announced his participation in the 2026 parliamentary elections on September 18.
