Iran was absolutely right to refuse to participate in the Sharm el-Sheikh summit. The summit was a Trump show and a humiliating performance. This was stated by Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
“The meeting started four hours late, Trump spoke alone, the leaders were humiliated, and there was no possibility of dialogue or results,” he noted.
As a reminder, a peace summit was held in Sharm el-Sheikh on October 13, at which a ceasefire agreement was reached in the Gaza Strip.
