“Out of utmost concern for the safety of our civilian population in Aleppo and to avoid a new escalation of hostilities in residential areas, the Ministry of Defense announces a ceasefire in the Sheikh Makousud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zayd districts, effective from 3:00 AM,” the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry called on armed groups from the Sheikh Makousud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zayd districts to leave the area after midnight, starting at 3:00 AM, until 9:00 AM tomorrow, Friday.
