A difficult situation has developed around the state institutions of Artsakh.
The authorities, using various channels and means of influence, impede the implementation of the processes envisaged by the Constitution of Artsakh, ensuring the fulfillment of another preliminary condition of Azerbaijan: the closure of the Artsakh problem by liquidating the state institutions of Artsakh.
In this case, we are talking about holding elections within the framework of ensuring the continuity of the institution of the presidency.
It is true that due to the persistence of some Artsakh figures, the Artsakh parliament carries out its activities under conditions of sharply limited functions, but it continues to remain in the field of constant targeting by the authorities.
Those forces and figures who believe that the Artsakh page is not closed and are actually fighting for the internationalization of the Artsakh issue and the collective return of the Artsakh people must first of all overcome their fears, get out of their comfort zone and be guided by a long-term strategy of struggle.
First of all, this applies, conditionally, to those forces that acted in the political space of Artsakh and are currently acting inside and outside the parliament of Artsakh, and at a separate level – to those political forces in the Republic of Armenia that do not share the position of the Armenian government on the Artsakh issue, at least in general.
