A fairly representative international conference on the topic of “Return to Western Azerbaijan as an important condition for the supremacy of human rights” is currently taking place in Turkey, within the framework of which numerous speeches against the territorial integrity of Armenia were made.
In his speech, the President of Azerbaijan especially noted that “ensuring the safe, dignified and peaceful return of Western Azerbaijanis to their ancestral lands is an important condition for the protection of human rights and peace in the region.”
Moreover, Aliyev noted that Armenia should clearly express its position on when and under what conditions Western Azerbaijanis will be able to return to their ancestral lands.
According to the latter, Azerbaijan expects that the Armenian leadership will receive representatives of the community to discuss this issue.
