We must fight for the eyes of international structures to open and for them to turn a blind eye to these illegal actions and the process aimed at stopping them. This was stated by the head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Executive Committee Henrikh Danielyan during a protest in front of the National Assembly. It is aimed at the freedom of political prisoners in Armenia and hostages in Baku.
“Today, justice in the Republic of Armenia has at least become sick and we must cure the justice that we had until 2018. Freedom of speech and political tolerance must be restored within the framework of rejecting the destructive theses of black and white,” he noted.
He listed the names of those imprisoned in Armenia for their political views, as well as the names of military and political leaders who are currently in Azerbaijani prisons. Those present chanted “freedom!”
Danielyan called on European partners not to remain indifferent and to take clear steps for their freedom.
