The US administration would like to involve Volodymyr Zelensky in the negotiations between Washington and Moscow to resolve the crisis in Ukraine. This was stated on Sunday by US President Donald Trump during a conversation with journalists from the White House press pool.
“He will be involved. Yes,” he briefly answered the question of whether Zelensky would be involved in these consultations.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with CBS that the US and Russia had not yet begun formal negotiations to resolve the crisis in Ukraine, while the presidents of the two countries had a telephone conversation, where the parties “expressed interest in ending this conflict.” However, later, he claimed, after the start of the peace process, the US would like to involve Kyiv and Europe in it.
