US President Donald Trump said he would impose new sanctions against Russia if a ceasefire in Ukraine is not established by the deadline he had previously announced, but noted that Russia has successfully avoided them. RIA Novosti reports.
“There will be sanctions, but they seem to be pretty successful at avoiding them. You know, they’re a smart bunch, and they’ve been pretty successful at avoiding them, so we’ll see what happens,” Trump told reporters.
