Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will hold talks with European leaders and US President Donald Trump today. Three separate online meetings are planned, Reuters reported on Wednesday, August 13.
Zelensky and European leaders will meet with Trump via videoconference ahead of his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
A German government spokesman said Trump’s videoconference with Zelensky and European leaders will take place today at 12:00 (16:00 Yerevan time). The leaders of Germany, Finland, France, Britain, Italy, Poland and the EU will attend. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will also take part in the online meeting.
Trump and US Vice President J.D. Vance will then hold a separate online meeting with European leaders. Then, at 6:30 p.m., there will be an online meeting of the “coalition of the willing” to develop plans to support Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire.
