Ankara has no plans to stop purchasing gas from Russia. Russia has always been and remains a reliable supplier, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said, according to RIA Novosti.
“We have been buying gas from Russia since the 1980s. Russian supplies cover approximately 40-50% of Turkey’s needs. There is no reason to worry. We continue to purchase gas from Russia,” Bayraktar said.
