A delegation led by Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, has arrived in Baku. He was received by Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov.
Azerbaijani media outlets report that they visited the graves of Heydar Aliyev and his wife, and visited the Martyrs’ Park.
Hasanov highly appreciated Turkey’s constant support for Azerbaijan, and the high-ranking Turkish military figure was also presented with the innovations of the Azerbaijani army. The parties discussed regional security and prospects for expanding cooperation in the military sphere.
