A fire broke out at an oil refinery in the Rostov Region after an attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones. This was reported by the region’s governor, Yuri Slyusar, on the night of Thursday, December 19. The plant in question is in Novoshakhtinsk, the official specified.
“As a result of a UAV attack in Novoshakhtinsk, a fire broke out at the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery. Emergency rescue units have left for the scene,” the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery is the only oil refinery in the Rostov Region; Ukrainian drones have attacked it at least three times: in March, June, and September of this year.
