Under the patronage of His Holiness Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia, material assistance was distributed to all Aleppo Armenian families. The Gandzasar weekly reports:
“In light of the statement of the Divan of the National Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese of Berea dated December 3, 2024, on the morning of Wednesday, December 4, 2024, under the patronage and direction of His Holiness Aram I, the National Administration of the Armenian Diocese of Berea, headed by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Berea, His Eminence Archbishop Makar Ashkarian, proceeded with the distribution of material assistance to all Aleppo Armenian families, without any discrimination based on denomination, in the inner hall of the Holy Mother of God Church.
The Holy Father, being present at the distribution, raised a prayer to God, encouraged, strengthened and comforted the children of the people, urging them not to be afraid, not to panic, but to pray and to demonstrate their course towards the future with a high attitude, always hoping that God is with us and will not abandon us, the course will be good, we simply have to wait patiently.
In this regard, the Holy Father conveyed the blessings of His Holiness the Patriarch to the people, reminding them that His Holiness the Patriarch is permanently with us and will make every effort and effort to be useful to the Armenians of Aleppo and our beloved children.
With encouraging words and fatherly blessings, the Holy Father wished the children of the people more endurance, patience, strength and courage, so that they may face the difficulties with a strong will and emerge victorious and continue their march, encouraging each other in the spirit of cooperation, putting aside the negative attitude and always being positive, always trusting and believing in God the Father, who guides our steps towards the good and the perfect.
Let us remember that the distribution work will continue in the coming days, in a sequential and organized manner, so that all the Armenian families of Aleppo receive the financial and moral support provided to them.
