US authorities have frozen $26 billion in funding for Democratic-leaning states, including New York, Reuters reports.
“The Trump administration on Wednesday froze $26 billion in funding for Democratic-leaning states,” the agency writes.
The freeze affected $18 billion in infrastructure projects in New York, including the subway, and $8 billion in green energy projects in 16 Democratic-controlled states, including California and Illinois.
