US Department of Homeland Security: There Are Professional Provocateurs Among the Los Angeles Protesters

Professional provocateurs are operating among the protesters in Los Angeles (California) and are paid for it. This was announced on Monday by US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

She was asked on Fox News to comment on information that appeared in the media about bricks being delivered to protesters in an organized manner so that they could use them in clashes with police.

“People are being paid to do this, you can see their behavior. They are signaling to each other in crowds of protesters to provoke violence. This is an operation, and it is being carried out at a professional level. This has happened before, and we will put an end to it and hold everyone accountable,” the minister said.

Noem did not specify who exactly might be behind the organization and financing of the riots that have engulfed Los Angeles.

As previously reported by American media, on June 6, mass detentions of illegal migrants began in Los Angeles; by the evening of June 7, at least 44 people were in custody on charges of violating immigration laws. In response to the actions of law enforcement agencies, demonstrations began in the city.

US President Donald Trump, bypassing California Governor Gavin Newsom, ordered the National Guard to be sent to Los Angeles to suppress the riots. After that, Newsom filed a lawsuit against Trump and Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth. The governor is asking that the decision to send National Guard soldiers to Los Angeles be declared illegal.
