US plans to launch ground operations in Venezuela undermine chances of reaching an agreement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated.
“The Pentagon’s belligerent statements that, in addition to the illegal actions of sinking civilian vessels without trial in the Caribbean Sea, they are also planning a ground operation. All of this, of course, undermines hopes of reaching an agreement within the current balance of power in the international arena,” he noted.
