US aspirations to establish control over other states may not be limited to Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov suggested.
“Rubio, in response to a journalist’s question, recently proposed a scenario in which the United States would govern Iran in the same way it declared its intention to govern Venezuela. Now they are already trying to implement a similar plan for Cuba. And perhaps this is not the end,” he said at a press conference following talks with Erivan Yusof, Second Foreign Minister of Brunei Darussalam.
