Israeli authorities have warned the United States about plans to strike the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the Associated Press, citing sources, kommersant.ru reports.
According to them, the notification was sent before the start of the operation.
US Vice President J.D. Vance expressed confidence that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will be maintained. “That does not mean that there will not be minor clashes from time to time,” he said at a briefing.
Earlier, a firefight broke out between Hamas and the Israeli army in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered “immediate and powerful strikes” on the enclave.
After that, the IDF carried out a series of airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. At least 65 people were killed.
