We consider the use of force unacceptable and call for the resolution of existing disputes exclusively by peaceful means. This was reported on the CSTO website.
The Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization issued a statement on the escalation of tensions in the Middle East and around Iran.

The document expresses deep concern over the rapid escalation of tensions in the region, which is caused by provocative actions by extra-regional forces aimed at destabilizing the situation in Iran.

The parliamentarians noted that these actions pose a serious threat to international peace and security. The statement emphasizes the inadmissibility of the use of force and the threat of force against sovereign states.

The CSTO Council called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and resume dialogue for the peaceful resolution of existing disputes. The document expresses support for the government and people of Iran.

“We consider the use of force unacceptable and call for the resolution of existing disputes exclusively by peaceful means, based on dialogue, mutual respect, and consideration of the interests of all parties, in accordance with the generally recognized principles and norms of international law and the UN Charter,” the statement said.
