The Vagharshapat mayoral election will take place today; all polling stations opened at 8:00 AM.
His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, voted at polling station No. 14/11.
“We held the elections with prayer, asking for a fair process, for the city of Vagharshapat to prosper, develop, and grant our people living here a dignified life and a happy future,” His Holiness told reporters.
