Iran must move its capital from Tehran. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated this, according to IRNA and RIA Novosti.
“Today’s reality is that we no longer have a choice. Moving the capital is a necessity,” he stated.
The reason for this, according to the head of state, is serious water supply problems, which, combined with urban population growth, could lead to a humanitarian catastrophe.
