“Without the US, Others Would Have Won”: Trump Credited America with Victory in World War II

President Donald Trump said on the Truth Social social network that victory in World War II was achieved only thanks to the United States. Otherwise, the outcome would have been different.

“We won two world wars, but we never took credit for it – everyone else does! All over the world, our allies celebrate our Victory in World War II. The only country that does not celebrate is the United States of America, and this victory was achieved only because of us,” Trump wrote.

He emphasized that without the US, others would have won and the current world would be different. The head of the White House also announced that he was declaring a national holiday.

“Without the United States, other countries would have won the war, and the world would be very different. Therefore, I am declaring a national holiday in honor of the victory in World War I, the armistice of which was signed on November 11, 1918, and in World War II, which was won on May 8, 1945,” the head of the White House said.

Trump added that the country will not be “closed” for these two days, since America already has too many days off. Instead, Americans will work as before.

“There are not enough days in the year for holidays and weekends. We were workers then, and we are workers now,” he concluded.
