US President Donald Trump announced that his special representative Steve Witkoff will arrive in Russia on August 6-7, TASS reports.
The head of the White House, speaking to journalists, said that Witkoff is “focused on the border.”
“I mean Gaza, supplying food to the residents. I think he can go to Russia next week, Wednesday or Thursday.
They want to see him, they asked for a meeting,” Trump insisted.
“We’ll see what comes of it,” he added.
