Woman, 62, who painted photos of 44-day war participants charged

A 62-year-old woman, detained in a criminal case for drawing portraits of participants in the 44-day war and related notes on a building on Pushkin Street in Yerevan, was brought to justice under Part 1 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The latter accepted the charge and stated that he regretted what had happened.

The body implementing the procedure chose a ban on his absence as a preventive measure, and the person was released from custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
