Transport police detained a passenger on a Yerevan-Moscow flight at Vnukovo Airport who started a fight on the plane and hit a flight attendant. This was reported by TASS.

As explained by the department, the duty unit received a message that there was an inadequate passenger on the plane arriving from Yerevan to Moscow who was behaving aggressively. Traffic police officers arrived at the airport’s runway parking lot, where the crew members pointed out the passenger who used force during the flight, hit one of the flight attendants on the head and ignored the crew’s warnings. The fearless passenger, born in 1982, is reported to be a foreigner, “from one of the distant foreign countries.” A criminal case has been opened against the man under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism on air transport with the use of violence). This article provides for imprisonment for up to five years. The man is currently in custody.
