On the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense checked the level of combat readiness and provision of units of the Azerbaijani army.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
After getting acquainted with the conditions created for servicemen on the spot, Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov gave additional instructions to relevant officials on preparing for the winter period, improving service and living conditions in units, increasing the combat readiness of the troops, seasonal maintenance of weapons and equipment, as well as ensuring uninterrupted supply.
It is noted that during the meeting, the Defense Minister spoke about the successful reforms in army building implemented under the leadership of Ilham Aliyev and noted the growing authority of Azerbaijan in the international arena, which was achieved thanks to the resolute defense of the interests and position of the Azerbaijani people by the head of state at prestigious events.
Hasanov also conveyed to the staff the tasks set by Ilham Aliyev for the Azerbaijani army.
