“Zangezur Corridor” will soon become another important section of the “Middle Corridor” and the “North-South” corridor, which will strengthen peace and multilateral partnership.
This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
Aliyev noted that the “Zangezur Corridor” will benefit all of Azerbaijan’s close and distant neighbors – to the east, west, north and south of the country’s borders.
“Azerbaijan and China have warm, friendly relations and a comprehensive strategic partnership. Deepening these relations is one of the important directions of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy,” Aliyev noted.
