Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Russian troops attacked the oil terminal of the Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR in the Odessa region. He wrote about this on Telegram.
“In Odessa, Russia deliberately attacked an energy facility belonging to an Azerbaijani company. That is, this is a blow to our relations and energy independence,” he said.
In addition, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk condemned Russia’s attack in a telephone conversation with Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova.
Recall that at night, as a result of a drone strike, a fire broke out at a fuel and energy infrastructure facility and a residential building in the suburbs of Odessa. The fire has been extinguished, there are no victims or injured. Russia struck the terminal of Nova Poshta and the terminals of the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR.
