Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a “very constructive” phone call with American negotiators led by Special Representative Steve Witkoff and the US President’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
Following recent talks between the Ukrainian and American sides in Florida, Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram that “Ukraine is committed to continuing honest work with the American side to achieve real peace.” He added that the parties agreed on next steps and the format of the negotiations, without disclosing details.
Tomorrow, December 8, Zelenskyy will travel to London to discuss the peace process with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
