The Ukrainian president announced the appointment of Oksana Markarova as adviser on reconstruction and investment in Ukraine.

Following the resignation of Presidential Administration Chief Andriy Yermak, Markarova was considered as a candidate to replace him, according to the BBC.

Oksana Markarova served as Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States from 2021 to the summer of 2025. At the beginning of Zelenskyy’s presidency, from 2018 to 2020, she also served as Minister of Finance.
