Within the framework of the 15th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan had a bilateral meeting with Minister of Justice of Qatar Ibrahim bin Ali Al Muhannadi. During the meeting Issues related to ensuring the continuity of cooperation, including the development of bilateral contractual relations, were discussed. RA Ministry of Justice informs about this. Legal aid has been referred to the existing draft agreements in the field of economy, as well as to the process of signing a memorandum that includes a wider range of cooperation. An agreement was reached to continue the work in this direction in the near future in order to sign relevant agreements and implement the agreements reached. The issues of using arbitration and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms were also discussed. The parties referred to Qatar's experience in digitalization of trials, including the practice of conducting remote trials. The possibility of exchanging experience in this direction was also discussed. Both sides have expressed readiness to continue effective cooperation in the specified directions.
