The report "On the problem and ways to solve it", which was prepared on the instructions of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan (within the framework of the 2026-2031 plan of the RA government). The Mother See of Saint Etchmiadzin called the "so-called report of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Prime Minister's Office on the Armenian Apostolic Church" published by the RA government unconstitutional, illegal and contrary to church rules. Г Etchmiatsin, in particular, stated that the report, based on accusations and slanderous theses about the embezzlement of state funds, published in social networks and media, is "a manifestation of political retaliation and revenge" and � It is regrettable. And according to the head of the government, based on the results of the commission's work, legislative initiatives should be developed, which will be aimed at "stopping the seizure of the Church". Both parliamentary opposition factions accused the authorities of unconstitutional actions against the Armenian Apostolic Church, announcing their refusal to participate in the work of the investigative commission. As a result, 62 deputies voted in favor and one more voted against.
