The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs carried out surveillance on the basis of a video on the application of an insecticide on food

On the basis of a video spread on social networks and received public attention, where a citizen claims to have seen how an employee of a fruit and vegetable store (Yerevan, Saryan 33/4) sprays the insecticidal substance "Dichlofos" on the fruits for sale. Therefore, the Rapid Response Unit of the Food Safety Inspection Authority took immediate control measures, samples were taken on site and submitted for laboratory examination. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Inspectorate to the public will additionally inform about the results of the performed control and laboratory research.
